We live in America and we have a government that always claims that it's got the peoples best interest at heart but does it really? I think No, it doesn't.
Doesn't it just make you furious to know that the corrupt people/corporations that ruined our economy are the ones that our own government bailed out with our hard earned money?
It seems like every time you turn around there's in increase in taxes or a new tax on something while the greedy corporate people are sitting pretty not hurting a bit while everyone else struggles day in and day out.
Is it just me that's noticed all of this happening? I use to believe that the United States of America was the greatest country on earth but really look at how they treat us. Doesn't it just sicken you to think of these huge corporations getting bailout money on top of the money they've already stolen from us?
Now, it saddens me to think of all the people who have lost there homes, foreclosures left and right. Where is the bailout for the common man? You want to have faith in this government but then when you really think about it, how can you?
I believe we as a people need to stop blindly putting our faith in these companies. We need to keep better track of whats going on with us. After all, if we pay someone to handle our money and never keep track of what's going on then we're partly to blame.
I think its time that we're in control of our own future. One way of doing that is the stock market. Now you may be thinking, are you kidding me? What if we were better equipped? That would make a huge difference. Make money for ourselves, not for the companies handling our money.
